Description:
Lifebit is seeking a Bioinformatics Solutions Architect to join their User Success team in Germany or Greece.
This mid-level role requires experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistical Genetics, or Genomic Medicine with a strong computational focus.
The successful candidate will work closely with research scientists, academics, software engineers, and clients to address challenges in Genomics and Precision Medicine.
Responsibilities include onboarding and training users, creating user guides and technical tutorials, performing platform demonstrations, and collaborating with internal teams to support clients.
The role involves developing relationships with platform end-users to ensure their success with Lifebit products and data.
Candidates should have advanced programming skills in languages such as R, Python, Bash, or Nextflow.
The position offers opportunities to learn from and collaborate with leading technical minds in the genomics and bioinformatics fields.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role within sales, solutions, or product management, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
A BSc in computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field is required; an MSc or PhD is preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of bioinformatics, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and genomics data management is necessary, along with at least 1 year of experience building pipelines in Nextflow.
Preferred certifications include AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of at least two programming languages (R, Bash, Python) is required.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and technical writing skills are essential, with client-facing experience preferred.
A solid understanding of design principles, SDLC, and best practices for solution development is required.
Familiarity with healthcare and life sciences industry standards, particularly regarding data security, compliance, and interoperability, is important.
The role may require travel 1-2 times per year for conferences or client meetings.
