Description:
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in leading large initiatives within our engineering squads.
This position is key to driving technical vision, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of exceptional products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to building scalable, high-performing, and maintainable systems while closely collaborating with Product, Design, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of large initiatives, managing your domain, collaborating to define a technical vision, maintaining a secure and efficient codebase, mentoring junior engineers, partnering with various stakeholders, and participating in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in full-stack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
Expertise in designing scalable and maintainable system architectures that support business needs and enhance user experiences.
Proficiency in using GraphQL for building APIs that provide efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and management.
Solid experience in building user interfaces using React and Typescript, focusing on creating great user experiences.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Understanding of user experience design principles and the ability to collaborate with designers is a nice-to-have skill.
Experience with cloud services beyond AWS, such as Google Cloud Platform, is also a nice-to-have skill.
A passion for mentoring and developing junior engineers is encouraged.
Familiarity with Elixir is a plus, though not required; a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential.
