Description:
Scroll is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, focusing on zkRollups to enhance scalability, efficiency, security, and developer-friendliness.
The role involves joining a dynamic engineering team dedicated to building cutting-edge Layer 2 solutions in the blockchain space.
As a blockchain data integrations engineer, you will collect, analyze, and build dashboards around Scroll’s on-chain data.
Responsibilities include managing and optimizing databases for blockchain data, creating and managing automated ETL workflows, updating Scroll’s website with insights from blockchain data, collaborating with product and growth teams, writing clean and efficient code, and debugging existing code to improve performance.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data engineer is required.
Candidates must have an understanding of blockchain data structures and smart contract event data.
Experience in creating and managing automated ETL workflows to organize raw blockchain data into structured formats is necessary.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential.
A strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web development tools is needed.
Experience in building RESTful APIs and working with databases is required.
Candidates should possess the ability to work independently and have strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
