Somnia is revolutionizing blockchain infrastructure by bringing the world’s data fully on-chain.
As a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain, Somnia enables real-time, reactive decentralized applications (dApps) across various sectors including gaming, social networks, and metaverses.
The company is developing a robust cloud-based architecture to support the Somnia Blockchain, which includes deploying and managing nodes on Google Cloud.
The Blockchain Operations Engineer will be responsible for onboarding and supporting new partners in running nodes effectively.
The current architecture utilizes Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, and Bazel for deployment and monitoring.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Blockchain operations or DevOps roles is required.
Hands-on experience in infrastructure and configuration management using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible is essential.
A proven track record in designing reliable and safe cloud solutions, preferably on Google Cloud Platform; experience with AWS is a plus.
Strong documentation and automation skills for technical processes are necessary.
Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively across engineering teams and with third parties.

The position offers the flexibility to work remotely from various locations around the globe, with a preference for candidates in Europe or Asia.
