Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is for CertiK’s security-related services, which intersect cybersecurity and blockchain.
CertiK’s security offerings include security consulting, security reviews, security auditing of smart contracts and blockchains, verification of smart contracts, penetration testing, and more.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for Solidity, a deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), distributed computing, and security.
Candidates should possess an eye for detail and a passion for creatively hacking smart contracts.
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to think from the perspective of a project’s creator and various adversarial actors.
Responsibilities include working directly with external blockchain developers to audit their code and secure their products, contributing to internal security tools, conducting security research, and improving processes for client satisfaction.

Requirements:

A minimum educational background of a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s or PhD in Computer Sciences or Security Information is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Security Engineer.
At least 2 years of experience in Solidity, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and/or blockchain technology is necessary.
Solid experience in threat analysis, advanced persistent threat (APT), or response is required.
Experience in threat and vulnerability management, penetration testing, and SecOps (including intrusion detection, security logging, malware analysis, and forensics) is essential.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, Golang, and Solidity is required.
A strong background in Math is considered a plus.
A passion for Cryptocurrency, DeFi, or Blockchain is also a plus.

The target annual salary for this role ranges from $102,000 to $180,000, depending on skills and experience.
