Description:

Barkbus is seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to create functional dashboards from spec sheets, wireframes, and SQL queries.
The role involves delivering interactive Tableau dashboards with a turnaround of 1–2 days, including same-day iterations as needed.
The analyst will ensure data accuracy and validate their work before publishing.
Responsibilities include implementing corporate branding and design best practices, maintaining consistency across dashboards, and iterating quickly based on internal feedback.
Effective communication with internal teams to understand data goals and context is essential.
The position is remote and requires at least 4–6 hours of overlap with 9AM–3PM Pacific Time, starting at 30 hours per week.

Requirements:

Candidates must be both people and dog lovers.
A portfolio showcasing clean, dynamic Tableau dashboards is required.
Expertise in Tableau features such as calculated fields, parameters, table calculations, hierarchies, local/global filters, and tiled layouts is necessary.
A deep understanding of design principles, particularly maximizing the data-to-ink ratio, is essential.
Expert-level proficiency in BigQuery SQL is required.
Applicants must be able to work independently while aligning with branding and coding best practices.
