Description:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will assist businesses in making data-driven decisions by producing global reports as the primary source of information.
The role involves collaborating with a team of 12 experts to support various departments, including marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and people experience.
Responsibilities include deriving facts from data, translating them into actionable insights, and supporting the business in identifying opportunities.
The analyst will execute end-to-end BI projects and serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders.
Daily tasks will involve using and developing a global database, creating, automating, and visualizing reports for top management and local teams.
The role offers the opportunity to develop prediction/classification models using Python/R once the analyst becomes independent in the position.
The analyst will work with tools such as Redshift, Git, Tableau, and Airflow.
Requirements:
Candidates must have demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights in either a commercial or academic setting.
Knowledge of Python/R and a desire to expand this knowledge is required.
Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in partnership with internal stakeholders and in leading and executing end-to-end BI projects.
A very good level of business English is essential.
Bonus points for having a degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
Candidates should be able to examine technicalities through a business lens and be open to cooperating with various teams across different countries.
A preference for seeing the instant effects of work and being careful, diligent, and detail-oriented is also valued.
