Remote Business Intelligence Analyst (100% remote in Poland or Spain)

Description:

• The Business Intelligence Analyst will assist businesses in making data-driven decisions by producing global reports as the primary source of information.
• The role involves collaborating with a team of 12 experts to support various departments, including marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and people experience, for both short-term and long-term projects.
• The analyst will derive facts from data and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Responsibilities include executing end-to-end BI projects and serving as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders.
• The position requires the use and development of a global database, as well as the creation, automation, and visualization of reports and analyses for top management and local teams.
• Once independent in the role, the analyst will have the opportunity to develop prediction/classification models using Python/R.
• Daily tasks will involve working with Redshift, Git, Tableau, and Airflow.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights in either a commercial or academic setting.
• Knowledge of Python/R and a desire to expand this knowledge is required.
• Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience in partnership with internal stakeholders and in leading and executing end-to-end BI projects.
• A very good level of business English is essential.
• Bonus points for having a degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
• Candidates should be able to examine technicalities through a business lens and be open to cooperating with various teams across different countries.
• A preference for seeing the instant effects of work and being careful, diligent, and detail-oriented is also beneficial.
