Description:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will assist businesses in making data-driven decisions by producing global reports as the primary source of information.
The role involves collaborating with a team of 12 experts to support various departments, including marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and people experience, for both short-term and long-term projects.
The analyst will derive facts from data and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities include executing end-to-end BI projects and serving as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders.
The position requires the use and development of a global database, as well as the creation, automation, and visualization of reports and analyses for top management and local teams.
Once independent in the role, the analyst will have the opportunity to develop prediction/classification models using Python/R.
Daily tasks will involve working with Redshift, Git, Tableau, and Airflow.
Requirements:
Candidates must have demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights in either a commercial or academic setting.
Knowledge of Python/R and a desire to expand this knowledge is required.
Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in partnership with internal stakeholders and in leading and executing end-to-end BI projects.
A very good level of business English is essential.
Bonus points for having a degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
Candidates should be able to examine technicalities through a business lens and be open to cooperating with various teams across different countries.
A preference for seeing the instant effects of work and being careful, diligent, and detail-oriented is also beneficial.
