Description:

  • The Business Intelligence Analyst will assist businesses in making data-driven decisions by producing global reports as the primary source of information.
  • The role involves collaborating with a team of 12 experts to support various departments, including marketing, sales, customer success, finance, and people experience.
  • Responsibilities include deriving facts from data, translating them into actionable insights, and supporting the business in identifying opportunities.
  • The analyst will execute end-to-end BI projects and serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders.
  • Daily tasks will involve using and developing a global database, creating, automating, and visualizing reports for top management and local teams.
  • The role offers the opportunity to develop prediction/classification models using Python/R once the analyst becomes independent in the role.
  • The analyst will work with tools such as Redshift, Git, Tableau, and Airflow.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights in either a commercial or academic setting.
  • Knowledge of Python/R and a desire to expand this knowledge is required.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience in partnership with internal stakeholders and in leading and executing end-to-end BI projects.
  • A very good level of business English is essential.
  • Bonus points for candidates with a degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related field.
  • Candidates should be able to examine technicalities through a business lens and be open to cooperating with diverse teams across different countries.
  • A preference for seeing instant effects of work and being careful, diligent, and detail-oriented is also valued.
