Description:

  • Mediavine is seeking a talented and dynamic Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, strategic planning, and operational excellence to join their growing team.
  • The role involves extracting actionable insights from complex datasets, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and enhancing BI dashboards and reports to provide clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • The analyst will analyze large datasets from various sources, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to optimize advertising strategies and operations.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and validation is essential.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize strategic projects that align with business goals is required.
  • The analyst will lead data-driven projects that support key initiatives such as market expansion, product development, and customer acquisition.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making and strategy formulation is a key responsibility.
  • Supporting the operations team by identifying inefficiencies, automating processes, and developing solutions to improve workflow is expected.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to provide insights that enhance operational effectiveness is part of the role.
  • The analyst will assist in developing and implementing business processes that drive productivity and scalability.
  • Close collaboration with product and engineering teams to understand data architecture and ensure accurate data collection and reporting is necessary.
  • Analyzing campaign performance data to provide insights into ROI, audience segmentation, and targeting strategies is required.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the BI function and support business growth is essential.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be based in the United States.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role, preferably within the AdTech or digital advertising industry, is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is required.
  • Proficiency in reporting catalogs, versioning, metric maintenance and documentation, and data literacy is essential.
  • Experience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database models is necessary.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake) is required.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data environments and big data technologies is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences, are required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, remote environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing metrics, programmatic advertising, and campaign management platforms is preferred.
  • Exposure to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices is preferred.
  • An understanding of the AdTech industry is preferred.
