Description:

DoorDash is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join the People Intelligence team, focusing on data-driven insights to attract and develop talent.
The role involves leading analytics initiatives across various business areas, particularly in high-volume hiring for the DashMart business.
Responsibilities include building tools and insights to support recruiting efforts, developing reporting and analytics, and managing impactful projects within a team of analysts and engineers.
The analyst will report to the People Analytics Manager and will act as an advisor, consultant, project manager, technology advocate, data analyst, engineer, and security/privacy advocate.
The position is remote and aims to help shape the People Intelligence team at DoorDash.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, data scientist, business intelligence engineer, or similar role.
A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (such as statistics, economics, or quantitative social science) or equivalent relevant experience is required.
Expertise in SQL and data manipulation, as well as proficiency with data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma) is essential.
A solid understanding of statistical analysis methods, including linear regressions, and familiarity with applying these methods to people analytics problems is necessary.
A proven track record of independently managing projects is required.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization are essential.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a related field, experience using GitHub or other version control software, and programming experience for data analytics (e.g., Python, R).

The compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $113,600 to $167,000 USD, along with opportunities for equity grants.
