Description:
OREDATA is a Digital Transformation & IT Consulting firm with over 10 years of proven expertise and hundreds of successfully implemented projects across the EMEA region.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will partner with business stakeholders and the technical team to design and develop efficient visualization and reporting solutions.
You will gather business requirements, design and develop reporting solutions, perform user acceptance testing with end users, and handle deployment.
Collaboration with data engineers is essential to establish end-to-end data and information delivery architecture.
You will ensure that the BI infrastructure conforms to security standards and that appropriate access controls are in place.
The role involves tuning and performance improvement of relevant reports and dashboards.
You will understand different datasets and perform ETL to prepare data for efficient data consumption.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.
You should have 4 to 6 years of experience in a business intelligence role, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization tools, techniques, and technology.
Practical knowledge about data warehouse, modeling, and data mart concepts, including star and snowflake schemas, is necessary.
Experience with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI is required.
Excellent visualization skills are essential, with the ability to convey customer data in an intuitive and visually compelling way.
You must be intimately familiar with best practices around data visualization.
Strong SQL skills are required for this position.
Experience with Google Cloud is a plus.
The ability to produce clear and accurate documentation is necessary, along with the capability to work collaboratively with end users and other technical teams.
An advanced level of English is required.
