Remote Business Intelligence Engineer

• As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will partner with business stakeholders and the technical team to design and develop efficient visualization and reporting solutions.
• You will gather business requirements, design and develop reporting solutions, perform user acceptance testing with end users, and handle deployment.
• Collaboration with data engineers is essential to establish end-to-end data and information delivery architecture.
• You will ensure that the BI infrastructure conforms to security standards and that appropriate access controls are in place.
• The role involves tuning and performance improvement of relevant reports and dashboards.
• You will understand different datasets and perform ETL to prepare data for efficient data consumption.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• You should have 4 to 6 years of experience in a business intelligence role, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization tools, techniques, and technology.
• Practical knowledge about data warehouse, modeling, and data mart concepts, including star and snowflake schemas, is necessary.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI is required.
• Excellent visualization skills are essential, with the ability to convey customer data in an intuitive and visually compelling way.
• You must be intimately familiar with best practices around data visualization.
• Strong SQL skills are required for this position.
• Experience with Google Cloud is a plus.
• The ability to produce clear and accurate documentation is necessary, along with the capability to work collaboratively with end users and other technical teams.
• An advanced level of English is required.
