Remote C# Developer

Description:

• Remotebase is building a remote work community connecting top tech talent with clients.
• This is a full-time remote role for an ETRM/C# Software Engineer.
• The Software Engineer will develop and maintain Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) software using C#.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, write clean and efficient code, conduct testing, and troubleshoot issues.
• The working timezone will be London.
• Key responsibilities include developing scalable, reusable components and application frameworks using .Net, working with other developers, business analysts, and testers, analyzing systems and business processes, researching alternative solutions, and liaising between technology teams and business units.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field is required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with .Net and/or .Net Core (C#, MVC, and/or Webforms) is necessary.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture is essential.
• Experience in creating a Software Factory, including version control and continuous integration, preferably with Microsoft VSTS, is required.
• Strong experience in designing multi-tiered applications and services is needed.
• In-depth knowledge of Dependency Injection/Inversion of Control and Test-Driven Development is required.
• An understanding of modern GUI framework architecture (MVC/MVP/MVVM/MVPVM) is necessary.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and Unit Testing is a plus.
