TuxCare, a subsidiary of CloudLinux, offers security solutions for Linux and open-source software aimed at enterprise organizations.
The Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) program allows organizations to securely use Linux distributions and software languages that have reached the end of life.
The C Developer will join the Endless Lifecycle team and will be responsible for backporting security fixes to stable versions of various projects.
The role includes creating reproductions and tests for identified vulnerabilities and contributing to major open-source projects such as Apache HTTPD, OpenSSL, and MySQL.
The developer will also automate routine processes like monitoring CVEs, applying patches, and conducting tests.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience with C programming is required.
Proficiency in GNU/Linux operating systems and shell scripting is necessary.
Experience with build systems such as autotools, make, and cmake is essential.
Familiarity with git-based development workflows is required.
Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C++, C#, or Rust is a plus.
Experience with Python or other scripting languages is also a plus.
Experience with Linux debuggers (gdb, ftrace, probes, bpf, etc.) is considered a plus.
