Description:
The C# .Net Developer position is a remote role based in Raleigh, NC, with a contract duration of 12+ months.
The Technical Specialist is expected to be available for 8 hours during standard business hours, from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, local time.
This role involves technical and analytical work in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting AASHTOWare Project (AWP) for the client.
The developer will collaborate with business analysts and other technical staff to deliver required functionality for AWP Preconstruction and CRL modules to the client business customers in an agile environment.
The position is anticipated to be needed for the next year or two.
Responsibilities include system administration, report writing, automated testing, configuration, and interface development related to AWP.
The individual will report directly to the client Letting and Compliance Systems (LCS) manager.
Experience with LAMDA for web application development is required, along with the ability to explain its usage.
Knowledge of applying SOLID principles to software development is necessary, with the ability to articulate their application.
The candidate should have experience creating test scripts for software development to ensure quality.
The ability to work effectively in an Agile SCRUM team and decompose development work into manageable backlog items is essential.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of programming and analysis work independently is required.
At least 2 years of knowledge in SQL, C#, .NET, Python, PowerShell, command line, and other standard languages used in web application development is required.
A minimum of 2 years of knowledge of best practices in coding and security is required.
At least 2 years of experience working collaboratively in a SCRUM software development team following Agile methodologies is required.
The candidate must have the ability to clearly explain technical processes to team members, with at least 2 years of experience in this area.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in reviewing and translating business user specifications to configure COTS applications is required.
The ability to execute technical work using best practices, including GIT for source code maintenance, is required, with at least 2 years of experience.
Experience working with state DOT customers is highly desired, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Understanding of AASHTOWare Project out-of-the-box tools and processes is highly desired, with at least 2 years of experience.
The ability to evaluate and analyze AASHTOWare Project requirements and make recommendations based on technical expertise is highly desired, with at least 2 years of experience.
Technical expertise in specific AASHTOWare Project functions and DOT business processes is highly desired, with at least 2 years of experience.
Understanding of the AASHTOWare Project data model and the use of the Interactive Data Model tool for solution development is highly desired, with at least 2 years of experience.
The ability to recommend and demonstrate best practices for testing protocols is highly desired, with at least 2 years of experience.
Knowledge of automated testing for application upgrades is highly desired, with at least 2 years of experience.
Experience with AASHTOWare Project (AWP) Active Reports Development using the Grape City Tool is highly desired, with at least 2 years of experience.
