Description:

DotActiv is seeking a C# Software Developer to enhance the South African retail market with high-quality category management software and advisory services.
The company aims to accelerate the world’s transition to retail sustainability through effective category management.
C# software developers will work with a technology stack that includes ASP.NET Core Web API and AngularJS to create Single Page Applications based on a Microsoft SQL database.
The role also involves using Xamarin for mobile solutions, allowing for a shared codebase with .NET Core framework web applications.
Responsibilities include translating application storyboards into functional applications, designing and maintaining efficient C# code, ensuring application performance and quality, identifying and solving bottlenecks and bugs, and maintaining code quality and organization.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of relevant development experience in an IT development environment is required.
Candidates must have a Grade 12 certificate that meets national senior certificate requirements, including higher grade Mathematics with at least 70%.
A relevant IT certification from a recognized authority is necessary, such as A+, N+, MCSE, MCP, MCT, or VCP.
Proficiency in C# and a good understanding of its ecosystems is essential.
A strong understanding of object-oriented programming and the ability to write reusable C# libraries is required.
Candidates should understand fundamental design principles for scalable applications and be familiar with continuous integration, Microsoft SQL, JSON, Angular, and .NET Framework.
Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests is necessary.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, is required.
Experience or exposure to Machine Learning, Image Recognition, Cloud Computing, AI Software Development, or Computer Vision Technology is advantageous.

The position offers a Cost to Company salary between R30k and R35k, depending on qualifications and experience.
This is a remote-working position, providing flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa.
