Remote CAD/3D Software Developer - Frontend/Full Stack

Description:

• Dandy is seeking a talented Senior CAD/3D Software Engineer to join their team, focusing on both front-end and full-stack development.
• The role involves leading product initiatives that support Dandy’s 3D toolset across the internal supply chain, driving high-quality and consistent patient-matched design efficiently at scale.
• Responsibilities include building aesthetic and intuitive customer-facing 3D experiences that allow clients to review, critique, interact, and collaborate in the design process.
• The position also requires orchestrating offline/back-end 3D processing routines that persist artifacts to cloud storage and submit results and metadata to relational databases.
• The engineer will help improve and maintain visual 3D components through testing and architectural enhancements.
• Contributions in this role will significantly impact Dandy's growth and innovation in their operating model.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 6+ years of experience as a software engineer in front-end and full-stack development.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in building CAD, CAM, FEA, or CFD applications is required.
• Experience in developing graphical applications using TypeScript/Javascript is essential.
• Proficiency with reactive front-end languages such as React, Angular, or Vue is necessary.
• Familiarity with WebGL and the 3D web ecosystem, including Three.js or Babylon.js, is required.
• Candidates should have a good understanding of transforms, camera matrices, and 3D operations.
• Comfort with back-end systems like nest, next, node, and graphql is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

• Candidates should possess low ego and objective collaboration skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive criticism on complex problem-solving.
