Calendico is a company that saves thousands of hours for people around the world every day by automating scheduling through WhatsApp, allowing clients to book and confirm appointments independently.
The company is seeking a Full Stack Developer with experience in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, JavaScript (especially Hotwire), and Tailwind to join their team.
As a full stack engineer, the candidate will be responsible for developing new features, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining the health of the codebase.
The team holds a weekly one-hour meeting and operates with a strong focus on productivity.
Responsibilities include developing new functionalities according to the product roadmap, quickly identifying and resolving code errors, contributing to scaling technology to meet growing user demand, ensuring code quality, performance, and security, actively participating in code reviews, staying updated with industry trends, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve company goals and OKRs.

Requirements:

The candidate must have solid experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript (Hotwire).
Experience working in startups is highly valued.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently troubleshoot technical issues are required.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment is necessary.
