Description:

Terrascope is a leading decarbonisation software platform designed for the Land, Nature, and Net-Zero Economy sectors.
The company aims to empower enterprises to maintain a habitable planet through effective carbon measurement and decarbonization.
The Carbon Data Analyst will implement clients' first carbon measurement on the Terrascope platform.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Customer Success Managers to define data requirements for carbon measurement, transforming unstructured data into structured data for processing, calculating and publishing carbon footprints, and providing feedback to the product development team.
The role is remote and can be based in Bengaluru, Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, or Jakarta.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a data analytics role.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and data engineering skills is required, or a quantitative background with a willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Python is necessary.
Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of interpreting unstructured data, understanding how numbers translate to real-world transactions.
A strong sense of ownership and comfort in a client-facing role is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to simplify complex concepts for a novice audience.
Candidates should be passionate about climate change and eager to contribute to solutions in this space.
Bonus points for prior experience in the climate or sustainability industry and knowledge of Green House Gas Accounting Principles.
