Description:

The company aims to empower enterprises to maintain a habitable planet through its carbon measurement and decarbonization platform.
The Carbon Data Analyst will implement clients' first carbon measurement on the platform and provide feedback to improve user experience.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Customer Success Managers to define data requirements, transforming unstructured data into structured data, calculating and publishing carbon footprints, and providing insights to the product development team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a data analytics role.
Skills in writing SQL queries and data engineering are required, or a quantitative background with a willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Python is necessary.
Prior experience in the climate or sustainability industry and knowledge of Green House Gas Accounting Principles is essential.
Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of interpreting unstructured data.
A strong sense of ownership and comfort in a client-facing role is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to simplify complex concepts for a novice audience.
A passion for solving climate change issues and being part of a dedicated team is expected.
