Remote Cash Application Analyst

Description:

• FundThrough is seeking a diligent and resourceful Cash Application Analyst to join their mission of helping business owners end the wait associated with payment terms.
• The role involves ensuring payments are processed in compliance with FundThrough's policies and procedures.
• Responsibilities include communicating with clients/customers to gather data for posting payments, maintaining detailed records on clients and their customers, and proactively evaluating clients' needs to meet their cash flow requirements.
• Payments must be posted no later than one business day, and the analyst will retrieve electronic payment data from various bank accounts.
• The position requires applying payments accurately and timely to client accounts, performing analysis of payment history, and reconciling client balances with a focus on solving payment discrepancies.
• The analyst will troubleshoot issues and conduct research for undefined customer accounts and/or over-payments.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Risk, Client Success, Product, and Engineering is essential.

Requirements:

• A passion for empowering small businesses to thrive is essential for this role.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in cash applications.
• A minimum of a high school degree is required, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance and accounting being ideal.
• Intermediate technical skills are necessary, particularly with tools such as Slack, Gsuite, and Excel.
• Candidates should be adept at using online resources for research.
• Maintaining quality in both external and internal customer interactions is crucial.
• Excellent professional communication and presentation skills are required.
• The highest level of integrity and ethics in work is expected.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above is mandatory.
• The ideal candidate should be a fast learner who can adapt easily.
• Bonus points will be given for understanding or experience in the factoring industry, asset-based lending, purchase order finance, or other alternative funding structures.
