Description:
The Cyber Defense Platform Data & Integration engineering (CDI) team is focused on addressing scalability and optimization challenges while adding new product features in response to the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
The role requires self-starting software developers capable of managing projected growth and new requirements.
The engineering team will work closely with product management and other engineers to implement solutions that enhance product scalability and analytic accuracy for clients.
Responsibilities include participating in all stages of an agile software development lifecycle, such as product ideation, requirements gathering, architecture, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support.
The candidate will refine methodologies based on industry best practices and maintain knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
The role involves resolving technical issues quickly and implementing strategies to prevent recurrence while ensuring seamless end-to-end solutions for clients.
Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, product-driven environment, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of new product feature design and development.
Candidates should be able to execute under tight schedules, present ideas clearly, engineer maintainable and scalable systems, and suggest workflow improvements.
A strong interest or background in cybersecurity is preferred.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in developing, testing, and implementing large-scale, complex cloud system architectures.
Hands-on experience in supporting or developing cloud enterprise technology in AWS, Azure, or GCP is required, as the company operates in a multi-cloud environment.
Strong programming skills in multiple languages/frameworks, including Python, Javascript, TypeScript (Vue.js, Node.js), Golang, and SQL, are essential.
Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and tools like JIRA is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with Continuous Delivery pipelines and tools such as GIT, GitLab, BitBucket, Jenkins, AWS Code Deploy, and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker in cloud environments is required.
Knowledge of API integration across applications, networks, and cloud environments is necessary.
Experience with cloud storage and database technologies, such as Postgres and DynamoDB, is required.
Candidates should have experience in building automation solutions and solving big data problems.
Previous cybersecurity experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Candidates must demonstrate CI/CD best practices.
A BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field experience is required.
