Description:
LastPass is seeking a Chief Security Architect to lead the Trust & Security team.
The role involves driving secure architecture modernization from both product and enterprise perspectives.
Responsibilities include standardizing security requirements, ensuring alignment with policies, and protecting customers, employees, infrastructure, and operations.
The Chief Security Architect will define and evolve the strategic vision for security architecture and create a roadmap for Secure-by-Design initiatives.
The position requires establishing standards and design patterns, prioritizing investments, and supporting budgeting cycles to align initiatives with business goals.
The role includes leading, mentoring, and growing the security architecture team.
Candidates should have extensive leadership experience across multiple security domains and a holistic, business-driven perspective on security architecture.

Requirements:
Candidates must have leadership experience, ideally at the Director level or higher, across multiple security domains.
Experience operating a certified or certifiable management system is required.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are necessary for clear interactions.
Strong writing and documentation skills are essential for maintaining comprehensive records.
The ability to work independently with exceptional initiative, planning, and organizational skills is required.
Candidates should be skilled in translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms for all stakeholders.
Attention to detail and a collaborative mindset are important for promoting teamwork.
Prior experience with American federal and state security standards, such as StateRAMP or FedRAMP, is desirable but not mandatory.
