Description:
Bosch Japan is a unique entity within the Bosch group that has a genuine R&D function, allowing for support in IP creation from Japan.
The role involves collaborating with colleagues from various countries to deepen understanding of different systems and provide global IP solutions.
Responsibilities include drafting patent documents and handling prosecution work with the Japan Patent Office (JPO).
The position requires responding to office actions, including preparing arguments and claim amendments.
The role also involves IP consulting and developing IP strategies for business units.
Support for IP contracts and management of trade secrets is part of the job.
Participation in global IP cooperation activities within the Bosch IP organization is expected.
Requirements:
Experience in drafting patent documents and handling prosecution work is essential.
Knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering is required, with a preference for expertise in electric and telecommunication technologies.
Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, self-control, persuasion, and negotiation abilities, are necessary.
Proficiency in English communication is required, with a TOEIC score of around 700 preferred.
Management experience is also a requirement.
A qualification as a Japanese patent attorney is preferred.
