Description:

rockITdata is seeking a System Administrator to join their Mission Support team.
The role involves performing incident and request resolution, escalation tickets, and providing technical writing and monitoring support.
The System Administrator will provide weekly status reports to show progress.
Responsibilities include managing virtual desktop and application solutions, triaging, troubleshooting, resolving, or escalating requests and issues.
The candidate will use standard processing in handling and documenting tickets and must meet the standard level of service for ticket resolution.
The position requires acting as a liaison between leadership and the team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience as a Citrix administrator, specifically in troubleshooting and implementing virtual desktop solutions.
A strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure virtual machines and active directory, is required.
Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps, desktops, Storefront, and Citrix Director is necessary.
Experience troubleshooting issues in both Citrix and Azure is essential.
Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts, including Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls, is required.
Candidates should have experience with performance optimization techniques, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Knowledge of security best practices, data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements is necessary.
Customer service experience and familiarity with Microsoft Teams and WebX is required.
Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
Candidates must possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required, or 8 years of additional relevant experience.
The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate background investigation is mandatory.
