Remote Client Implementations Data Solutions Architect

Description:

• The Data Solutions team works with new customers to set up their data in Subscript and verify everything is correct.
• The product is a premier metrics-first finance and billing platform that empowers B2B SaaS leaders to invoice their customers, tell their ARR story, and track accounting revenue, all in one place.
• The role involves being the first point of contact for new customers after they sign on to Subscript, guiding them through complex, data-intensive implementations.
• Responsibilities include connecting new customers to their source data, helping them clean and validate their data in Subscript, and performing analyses to maximize value.
• The position requires working with clients' CRMs, general ledgers, billing tools, and spreadsheets, utilizing spreadsheets, external APIs, SQL, and occasionally Python.
• The Data Solutions Architect will be the sixth member of the team and will help define the role as the company grows.
• The company operates asynchronously, with minimal scheduled meetings, relying on written documentation and Slack channels for communication.
• This is a fully remote position, requiring substantial overlap with US-Pacific working hours due to client interactions.
• The team enjoys collaboration and social activities, including board games and off-site meetings.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have a passion for data, with strong analytical and advisory skills.
• Serious spreadsheet skills are required, along with experience in requesting and reading JSON data from APIs.
• Candidates must have a satisfaction in achieving perfectly clean data and mastery of SQL.
• Familiarity with B2B SaaS business models is essential, as well as the ability to work during US-Pacific time.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• While not mandatory, comfort in Python, experience with general ledgers used in SaaS finance, and exposure to CRM software are welcomed.
• Candidates should be kind, empathetic, and communicative, both with customers and internally with the team.
