Description:
The Client Security Architect must have experience working across a wide variety of security solutions and technologies.
The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting solutions that enable security configurations, administration, management, and support.
The architect will partner with clients to architect the appropriate security point solution configuration and set up support monitoring within platforms for service delivery operations.
A strong understanding of core IT security tools and network fundamentals is required.
This is a customer-facing position that helps maximize technology investments from clients.
Key competencies include experience with enterprise class Anti-Virus software, Next-Gen AV, and EDR.
The candidate should understand core network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP, UDP, SSL, SSH, SCP, FTP, and IPSec.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and VMware is necessary.
The role requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues across different platforms.
Experience in conducting threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential security threats is essential.
Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls is expected.
Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS is required.
The candidate should have experience with Microsoft security application configuration, support, and management, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Identity & Azure AD Identity Protection, Microsoft Cloud Application Security (MCAS), and Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
Knowledge of technology solutions in cyber security point solution tools and IT Network/Cloud Environment data/metadata is important.
An ownership mindset with demonstrated partnership with functional counterparts to deliver on business objectives is necessary.
Experience with security tool configuration, management, and troubleshooting is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with SIEM, SSL Decryption, Malware Detection, HIDS/NIDS, Network Monitoring Tools, Case Management Systems, Microsoft Azure Security products, Email Security, and Data Loss Prevention.
Excellent teamwork skills are essential.
Experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix systems is required.
The ability to handle high-pressure situations in a productive and professional manner is necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to present complex technical topics in clear and easy-to-understand language.
Teamwork and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a globally distributed team, are important.
The candidate must be able to provide tuning recommendations for security tools to internal operations teams and clients.
The ability to work in a client-facing role to assist customers with correcting service issues and advising on best practices related to the security tools supported within the client's environment is required.
