Description:

  • The Client Security Architect position is a remote role based in Germany, requiring fluency in English and German in a technical setting.
  • This role involves working with a variety of security solutions and technologies, maintaining and troubleshooting security point solutions.
  • The architect will partner with clients to configure and set up security solutions to support monitoring and service delivery operations.
  • Responsibilities include advising clients to maximize their technology investments, working with enterprise-class Anti-Virus software, Next-Gen AV, EDR, and Microsoft Defender suites.
  • A strong understanding of core network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP, UDP, SSL, SSH, SCP, FTP, and IPSec is essential.
  • Experience with Splunk SIEM technologies or other SIEM security solutions is required.
  • The role also involves knowledge of Microsoft Defender security suites and other security applications, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Office 365, Identity Protection, and Azure Sentinel.
  • The candidate should demonstrate an ownership mindset and partnership with functional counterparts to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in security tool configuration, management, and troubleshooting is necessary.

Requirements:

  • Excellent teamwork skills are required for this position.
  • Candidates must have experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix systems.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related IT field is required; exceptional candidates with proven experience may also be considered.
  • The ability to handle high-pressure situations productively and professionally is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to present complex technical topics clearly.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills are important, especially for working with a globally distributed team.
  • Candidates must be able to provide tuning recommendations for security tools to internal operations teams and clients.
  • The ability to work in a client-facing role to assist customers with service issues and best practices is required.
  • Basic knowledge of SIEM, SSL Decryption, Malware Detection, HIDS/NIDS, Network Monitoring Tools, Case Management Systems, Knowledge Bases, Web Security Gateways, Email Security, and Data Loss Prevention is necessary.
