Description:
The Client Security Architect position is a remote role based in Germany, requiring fluency in English and German in a technical setting.
This role involves working with a variety of security solutions and technologies, maintaining and troubleshooting security point solutions.
The architect will partner with clients to configure and set up security solutions to support monitoring and service delivery operations.
Responsibilities include advising clients to maximize their technology investments, working with enterprise-class Anti-Virus software, Next-Gen AV, EDR, and Microsoft Defender suites.
A strong understanding of core network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP, UDP, SSL, SSH, SCP, FTP, and IPSec is essential.
Experience with Splunk SIEM technologies or other SIEM security solutions is required.
The role also involves knowledge of Microsoft Defender security suites and other security applications, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Office 365, Identity Protection, and Azure Sentinel.
The candidate should demonstrate an ownership mindset and partnership with functional counterparts to achieve business objectives.
Experience in security tool configuration, management, and troubleshooting is necessary.
Requirements:
Excellent teamwork skills are required for this position.
Candidates must have experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix systems.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related IT field is required; exceptional candidates with proven experience may also be considered.
The ability to handle high-pressure situations productively and professionally is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to present complex technical topics clearly.
Teamwork and interpersonal skills are important, especially for working with a globally distributed team.
Candidates must be able to provide tuning recommendations for security tools to internal operations teams and clients.
The ability to work in a client-facing role to assist customers with service issues and best practices is required.
Basic knowledge of SIEM, SSL Decryption, Malware Detection, HIDS/NIDS, Network Monitoring Tools, Case Management Systems, Knowledge Bases, Web Security Gateways, Email Security, and Data Loss Prevention is necessary.
