Description:
Jobgether is seeking a Client Security Architect for a remote position in the United States, specifically for candidates located on the West Coast.
This role is designed for a security professional with strong technical skills and client-facing experience.
The Client Security Architect will assist enterprise clients in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure technology environments.
Responsibilities include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting security tools, particularly focusing on Microsoft security products and SIEM technologies.
A deep understanding of core IT security principles and the ability to simplify complex issues for clients is essential.
The position is open only to U.S. citizens due to compliance requirements.
Accountabilities:
Provide architecture and configuration guidance for endpoint, cloud, and network security tools.
Support client-facing engagements to resolve service issues and recommend security best practices.
Manage and monitor tools such as Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel, and EDR solutions.
Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling across customer environments.
Tune and optimize security tools to align with client-specific use cases and operational needs.
Advise on regulatory compliance requirements including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security strategy and operations.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with enterprise-grade security tools such as SIEM, SSL decryption, and malware detection.
Proficiency with Microsoft security products, including the Defender suite, Azure Sentinel, and MCAS, is required.
A strong knowledge of core networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and IPSec, is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud and virtualization platforms such as Azure, AWS, and VMware is expected.
The ability to troubleshoot across multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Unix, is essential.
Understanding of security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary.
Preferred certifications include Security+, CEH, Microsoft Security Administrator, and Azure Security Engineer.
Strong communication skills are required to present technical topics clearly to clients and teams.
