Description:

  • Jobgether is seeking a Client Security Architect for a remote position in the United States, specifically for candidates located on the West Coast.

  • The Client Security Architect will assist enterprise clients in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure technology environments.
  • Responsibilities include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting security tools, particularly focusing on Microsoft security products and SIEM technologies.
  • A deep understanding of core IT security principles and the ability to simplify complex issues for clients is essential.
  • The position is open only to U.S. citizens due to compliance requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide architecture and configuration guidance for endpoint, cloud, and network security tools.
  • Support client-facing engagements to resolve service issues and recommend security best practices.
  • Manage and monitor tools such as Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel, and EDR solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling across customer environments.
  • Tune and optimize security tools to align with client-specific use cases and operational needs.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance requirements including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security strategy and operations.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience with enterprise-grade security tools such as SIEM, SSL decryption, and malware detection.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft security products, including the Defender suite, Azure Sentinel, and MCAS, is required.
  • A strong knowledge of core networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and IPSec, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with cloud and virtualization platforms such as Azure, AWS, and VMware is expected.
  • The ability to troubleshoot across multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Unix, is essential.
  • Understanding of security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary.
  • Preferred certifications include Security+, CEH, Microsoft Security Administrator, and Azure Security Engineer.
  • Strong communication skills are required to present technical topics clearly to clients and teams.
