Remote Clinical Data Analyst

Description:

• Vida is a virtual health clinic focused on managing chronic cardiometabolic conditions and achieving lifestyle health goals through personalized health coaching and programs.
• The Clinical Data Analyst will partner with customer success, product, and enterprise teams to support clinical outcomes monitoring and reporting.
• Responsibilities include clinical data quality control and cleaning, reporting clinical data for internal and external clients, and conducting clinical outcomes analytics.
• The role involves developing dashboards, reports, and documentation to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Collaboration with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and clinical researchers is essential to ensure data quality and analytical rigor.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or a related discipline is required.
• Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience as a data analyst in the healthcare technology space or a related field.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Looker, dbt, or other business intelligence tools is necessary.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python or R, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code for data analysis, is required.
• Clinical analytics training and experience analyzing clinical outcomes data and healthcare claims data is essential.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy guidelines related to PHI and digital health is required.
• Experience with claim files and definitions is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Experience in data/database management is required.
• A proactive and collaborative working style is essential, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience in a startup or fast-growing company is preferred.
• Basic statistical analysis skills are required.
• An interest in learning new platforms, tools, and innovations in data analytics is necessary.

Benefits:

• The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
