Remote Cloud Architect

Description:

• SAP Fioneer is seeking a Cloud Architect to join their Cloud Platform and Products team in Toronto, Canada.
• The role involves collaborating with cloud providers to enhance FSI cloud solutions based on standard SAP services.
• Responsibilities include developing reference architectures for SAP Private Cloud deployments, providing cloud architecture advisory, and ensuring system designs adhere to regulations.
• The Cloud Architect will also engage in presales activities, drive customer onboarding, and maintain service catalogues for technical services.
• The position requires hands-on experience in SAP BASIS and/or SAP Technical Architecture, knowledge of IT security standards, and familiarity with Hyperscaler technologies.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-driven mindset.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS and/or SAP Technical Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of IT security standards, compliance, and technical architecture.
• Experience with Hyperscaler technologies and technical security.
• Certifications in SAP technology stack and Hyperscaler Cloud preferred.
• Ability to resolve complex issues, collaborate with global teams, and work in a regulated industry.
• Hands-on mentality, willingness to learn quickly, and strong drive to achieve goals.
