Description:

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join their dynamic team.
The Cloud Architect will take a leadership role in overseeing a team responsible for planning, configuring, migrating, and enhancing the MEDCHART system within the Government-selected Cloud hosting facility.
There is one open position available.
A Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS clearance is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
Candidates must have eight or more years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive cloud strategies for the MEDCHART system, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, designing cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability of cloud applications, evaluating cloud services, developing migration plans, implementing security measures, and collaborating with software developers.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role is required.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is necessary.
Expertise in cloud architecture design, including networking, security, and scalability, is essential.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles is preferred.
Candidates should develop cost models and optimize cloud resource usage for cost-effectiveness.
Strategies for monitoring and managing cloud expenses must be implemented.
Comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes must be created and maintained, ensuring accessibility to relevant stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certifications.
Security+ and HIPAA certifications are also required.
