Remote Cloud Architect ( Appian platform )

Description:

• The position is for a Cloud Architect specializing in the Appian platform.
• This is a contracted, mid-level role based in Maryland, with remote work options available for candidates in the EST/CST time zones.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in Application Architecture specifically with the Appian platform, as well as Cloud Architecture and exposure to Salesforce.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing IT solutions, with a focus on application development, APIs, middleware, servers and storage, database management, and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates must have design and implementation experience in IT, with deep knowledge in at least two technical disciplines such as application development, APIs, middleware, servers and storage, database management, clustering technologies, virtualization, cloud technologies, and Active Directory.
• Exposure to diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments is necessary.
• A solid understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies is required, along with the ability to support agile teams by providing advice on opportunities, impacts, and risks.
• Candidates should possess excellent people skills, strong leadership abilities, and a good understanding of design principles and common design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a technical context are essential.
