Remote Cloud Architect

Description:

• As an Enterprise Cloud Architect, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions.
• You will enable your organization to harness the full potential of AWS and Google Cloud.
• This role requires you to be a strategic partner to technical and business stakeholders.
• You will ensure seamless integration of cloud services with enterprise needs while driving cost efficiency and performance.
• Responsibilities include developing cloud strategies, creating robust cloud architectures, defining governance and security standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing cloud costs.

Requirements:

• You must have deep expertise in AWS and Google Cloud platforms, including compute, storage, networking, and identity management services.
• A strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR) is required.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential to articulate complex cloud solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance is crucial.
• You should have a proven track record of designing and deploying enterprise-grade cloud solutions on AWS and Google Cloud.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, particularly in multi-cloud environments, is required.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and serverless computing models is necessary.
• Hands-on experience in automating cloud infrastructure and managing enterprise workloads is essential.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are nice to have.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and integrating legacy systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with big data services like Google BigQuery or AWS Redshift is beneficial.
• Knowledge of FinOps principles for cloud cost management is also a plus.
