As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for processing and analyzing large, complex data sets.
You will work in a collaborative and supportive team environment to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.
The role involves working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, although prior GCP experience is not essential.
This position is primarily remote, with the option to work from one of the offices or abroad for up to 3 months a year.
Responsibilities include developing automated data processing pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with data scientists and analysts.

Requirements:

You must have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle is required.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive is necessary.
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Apache Airflow is expected.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and in a team.
Ideally, you should be certified in Google Cloud (Professional level) or have equivalent certification with another cloud provider.
