Description:

Digital Infuzion is seeking a Cloud Database Developer to join their remote team, focusing on innovative healthcare solutions.
The role involves developing and maintaining data components to ensure high-quality data management, transformation, and curation.
Responsibilities include creating complex data pipelines using AWS services, developing ETL scripts, and ensuring the operational health of managed relational databases in an AWS environment.
The developer will collaborate with scientists and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions and participate in user story refinement and Sprint planning.
The position also involves providing support for NoSQL datastores, implementing monitoring and optimization strategies, and evaluating cloud-based data storage mechanisms.
This is a work-from-home/remote-eligible position.

Requirements:

A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and database design, development, and management.
Proficiency in JSON for data manipulation, API development, and cloud data exchange is essential.
Experience with parsing and transforming JSON data within cloud environments, particularly AWS, is required.
Expertise in database management and design in AWS or other cloud environments is necessary.
Knowledge of NoSQL datastore design and implementation, including DynamoDB, DocumentDB, MongoDB, and graph databases, is required.
Familiarity with vector stores like Pinecone or ChromaDB is preferred.
Extensive data migration skills and experience with ETL concepts and tools are necessary.
Candidates should have familiarity with backup and recovery, performance tuning, and optimization.
Demonstrated experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is required, focusing on their health and operational readiness in cloud environments.
Understanding of transactional database and data warehouse architecture, design, and development is necessary.
