Remote Cloud DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The company ALTER SOLUTIONS is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer for a project in the energy sector.
• The role involves supporting the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD processes, automating operational processes, ensuring system security, and providing technical guidance to team members.
• The engineer will troubleshoot issues, maintain configuration standards, handle code deployments, and document processes for improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required.
• Fluency in English and one of the following languages: German, Dutch, or French is necessary.
• Proven experience in DevOps engineering and agile software development is essential.
• Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Git, ArgoCD, and SonarQube is required.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm is a must.
• Strong background in Linux-based infrastructures and cloud services (Azure) is necessary.
• Coding skills in Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and shell scripting are required.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and security testing tools is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are necessary.
