Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
The Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support our applications and services.
This position will be instrumental in driving our cloud strategy and ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Extensive experience with cloud architectures, particularly AWS.
Proficient in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.
Develop and maintain automated pipelines, integrating various tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
Manage and support container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, enhancing scalability and flexibility.
Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions such as New Relic.
Expertise in components like CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events and Alarms, syslogs, and other cloud analytics tools.
Automate repetitive tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform, streamlining the deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, integrate test automation into CI/CD processes, and ensure seamless code releases.
Understand and apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure from potential threats.
Strong troubleshooting skills, effective server resource management, and database management knowledge (SQL and NoSQL databases).
Experience with Linux and Windows servers.
Expertise in scripting languages and automation technologies such as AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and SNS for event-driven patterns.
Requirements:
Proven experience in building Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and other container management tools.
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
Proficiency in observability tools and APM solutions like New Relic.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer).
IT operations skills, including troubleshooting, server management, database management, and network troubleshooting (e.g., DNS management, SSL certificates, domain management).
System administration skills: Apache/Nginx configuration, OS updates, and patching.
Strong scripting skills with languages such as Python and Node.js.
Ability to write clear and concise documentation in Confluence.
5-10 years of experience in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and related fields.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
Strong working knowledge of DNS and security certificates, and their use in managing websites and securing services.
