Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • The Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support our applications and services.
  • This position will be instrumental in driving our cloud strategy and ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience with cloud architectures, particularly AWS.
  • Proficient in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.
  • Develop and maintain automated pipelines, integrating various tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Manage and support container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, enhancing scalability and flexibility.
  • Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions such as New Relic.
  • Expertise in components like CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events and Alarms, syslogs, and other cloud analytics tools.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform, streamlining the deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
  • Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, integrate test automation into CI/CD processes, and ensure seamless code releases.
  • Understand and apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure from potential threats.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, effective server resource management, and database management knowledge (SQL and NoSQL databases).
  • Experience with Linux and Windows servers.
  • Expertise in scripting languages and automation technologies such as AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and SNS for event-driven patterns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and other container management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in observability tools and APM solutions like New Relic.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer).
  • IT operations skills, including troubleshooting, server management, database management, and network troubleshooting (e.g., DNS management, SSL certificates, domain management).
  • System administration skills: Apache/Nginx configuration, OS updates, and patching.
  • Strong scripting skills with languages such as Python and Node.js.
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation in Confluence.
  • 5-10 years of experience in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and related fields.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of DNS and security certificates, and their use in managing websites and securing services.
