Description:

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure for next-generation web, mobile, and IoT applications.
Tasks include provisioning infrastructure components, developing tools for SRE/DevOps teams, maintaining system documentation, managing change, monitoring availability and performance, handling support escalation, and capacity planning.
The role involves automated infrastructure provisioning, creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, and automation scripts.
The engineer will support developers and QA teams during the software lifecycle process and deploy applications to production and non-production environments.
The position is fully remote in Latin America with compensation based on experience and potential.

Requirements:

More than 5 years of experience as an SRE/DevOps/SysAdmin.
Proficiency in Linux Systems Administration (RedHat Enterprise, Ubuntu, Debian) for over 5 years.
Experience with Kubernetes (3+ years), Linux Containers (3+ years), Helm, Kustomize, or equivalent (1+ year), Istio or equivalent (1+ year), Terraform (2+ years), and Bash scripting (5+ years).
Familiarity with AWS EKS or GCP GKE, AKS (2+ years), GitLab Pipelines or GitHub Actions (2+ years), GIT (3+ years), AWS, GCP, Azure (2+ years), Python, Go, or equivalent (2+ years), and databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, AWS DynamoDB, or equivalent (2+ years).
Experience in security hardening of Linux OS, Kubernetes, Istio, Containers (2+ years), and monitoring tools like Datadog, AWS Cloudwatch, or equivalent (2+ years).
