Description:
The position is for a Cloud DevOps Engineer, which is a remote contract role specifically for candidates based in Latin America or Eastern Europe.

The engineer will design, build, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, aiming to create a multi-cloud environment that includes Azure.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable, and secure deployments.
The role involves implementing and managing serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Aurora Serverless.
The engineer will use Terraform and Helm to define infrastructure as code and support container orchestration.
Automating operational tasks and cloud workflows using Python scripting is a key responsibility.
Monitoring cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization is required.
The engineer will apply best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance.
Collaboration with developers and product teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with application needs is essential.
Participation in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure high system reliability is expected.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role focused on Cloud.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch is required.
Familiarity with Azure cloud services is considered a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting is necessary.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation is required.
Deep experience with Terraform, Helm, and managing Kubernetes clusters is essential.
A solid background in CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Circle CI or Jenkins is required.
Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK is necessary.
Experience with secure cloud architecture and implementation of best practices in cloud security is required.
