• The role involves delivering technical solutions for clients, including writing terraform scripts and researching storage optimization for SAP deployments.
• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services, optimize performance, and enhance system reliability.
• Daily tasks include deploying and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, developing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, implementing CI/CD pipelines, configuring IaaS, automating system architectures, troubleshooting client deployment issues, investigating outages, and coordinating with internal teams for technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 2-3 years of proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and BigQuery, is required.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell is necessary.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is essential.
• A strong understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and cloud architecture patterns is required.
• Candidates should have experience in Linux and Windows administration.
• Experience with networking, VMs, firewalls, and virtualized environments is necessary.
• Writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform is a must.
• Relevant certifications, such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer, are a plus.
