Remote Cloud Engineer (GCP)

Description:

• Immediate opportunity for a Cloud Engineer to join the team in a long-term contract role.
• Support the development and optimization of systems like Terraform Enterprise, Vault Enterprise, GKE, and other cloud platforms.
• Gain experience in a large enterprise setting.

• Support backend solutions for developer onboarding and cloud workload management.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with GCP services, Kubernetes deployments, Terraform setups, and other cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting documentation and best practices.
• Actively seek process enhancements and tools improvement.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Nice-to-have: GCP certification, experience with monitoring tools, knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud computing.
