Description:

  • As the Cloud Engineer II, you will be an experienced systems administrator eager to grow your technological skills on a global stage.
  • You will protect critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy.
  • You will help empower breakthrough innovations, be given challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership of various components.
  • You will design, deploy, and manage public and private cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • You will monitor and optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • You will implement and manage security measures to protect cloud environments.
  • You will build and manage deployment pipelines using common CI/CD tools.
  • You will automate cloud operations and workflows using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
  • You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents.
  • You will stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
  • You will document cloud and system configurations, procedures, and changes.

Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
  • You should possess strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services.
  • You need strong knowledge of containerizing applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • You must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers and services.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform) is required.
  • You should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
  • You must demonstrate self-reliance by meeting/exceeding workflow needs and have a positive attitude and motivation.
  • You should be capable of working independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel.
