Description:

As the Cloud Engineer II, you will be an experienced systems administrator eager to grow your technological skills on a global stage.
You will protect critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy.
You will help empower breakthrough innovations, be given challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership of various components.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and managing public and private cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
You will monitor and optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, implement and manage security measures, and automate cloud operations using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
Staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and documenting cloud and system configurations will also be part of your role.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field is required.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows servers and services is necessary.
You must have proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
You must demonstrate self-reliance, a positive attitude, concern for students, teamwork, and excellent time management skills.
The ability to work independently with limited supervision and adapt to work under pressure is crucial.
