Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Shift Lead with hands-on expertise in Multi-Cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in infrastructure, along with the ability to effectively lead a team and mentor junior members.
Responsibilities include managing and optimizing infrastructure across GCP and Azure, designing and implementing cloud solutions to meet business requirements, and ensuring the security, availability, and performance of cloud environments.
Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing DevOps practices to enhance the development and deployment lifecycle is required.
Proficiency in implementing and managing SAML and OAuth protocols for secure authentication and authorization is necessary.
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud IAM and Azure AD and their integration with cloud-based services is essential.
Understanding of Google APIGEE, troubleshooting, and support is required.
Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting workloads in Kubernetes across GCP and Azure is needed.
The role involves deploying and providing support to Application Performance Management tools (Dynatrace) and firefighting production problems that are performance-related.
The candidate will oversee day-to-day operations of the technical shift, monitor system performance, and ensure SLAs are met.
The position includes leading and mentoring a team of L1 & L2 technicians, providing guidance and conducting training sessions to enhance technical skills.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and participating in on-call rotations to respond to critical incidents is expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Relevant certifications in GCP and Azure are necessary.
A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with GCP and Azure is required.
Previous experience in a technical leadership role is essential.
Proficiency in cloud architecture and services (GCP, Azure) is required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities are required.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is necessary.
