Description:

Mactores is seeking a Cloud Engineer Intern to contribute to the configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of complex software applications at the enterprise level.
The intern will implement cloud architectures defined by the Solutions Architect on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
The role involves supporting customers' cloud deployments in a 24x7 operational support system.
The intern will monitor customers' production infrastructure in 24x7 rotational shifts and improve monitoring and alerting systems using automation tools.
Responsibilities include preparing monthly operational reports for customers and leading the team in identifying and implementing new technologies.
The intern will work with off-the-shelf and open-source tools to manage infrastructure reliably and resiliently, including tools like Chef and various scripting languages.
The position also requires maintaining and enhancing existing enterprise infrastructure.

Requirements:

Strong Windows and Linux systems administration skills are required.
The candidate should have experience in migrating and architecting complex multi-tier applications to private or public cloud infrastructures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to update customers and internal teams on issues, escalations, and root cause analyses.
The ability to visually communicate architecture to customers and internal teams is essential.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience working with AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, RHEL Certified Engineer, Azure Certifications, or Snowflake Certifications are advantageous.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is preferred.
