Description:

The Cloud Engineer position involves managing and optimizing both cloud and local infrastructure systems for an emerging player in the airline technology sector.
Responsibilities include implementing, maintaining, and upgrading cloud and local infrastructure systems, developing innovative solutions to enhance cloud performance, ensuring stability, security, and scalability of the infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
The role offers the flexibility of working remotely or from the office in Chania, Greece, and reports to the IT & Operation Director.

Requirements:

Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure (VMs, Kubernetes, etc.).
Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., bash).
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of networking, protocols, and firewall rules.
Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Familiarity with programming languages like Python and Java.
Knowledge of cryptography and certificate management.
Any other specific skills related to the role.
Knowledge of any foreign languages needed.
