Description:

Jobgether is seeking a Cloud Engineer to work remotely in Portugal.
The role involves designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions while ensuring a seamless DevSecOps framework.
The Cloud Engineer will act as a key enabler between development, QA, and operations teams to ensure efficient, secure, and continuous delivery of applications.
Responsibilities include automating CI/CD pipelines, managing scalable cloud infrastructure, and ensuring cloud-agnostic design for multi-cloud and on-premise interoperability.
The position requires automating tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and custom scripts while maintaining cloud security practices aligned with compliance policies.
Key accountabilities include designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily in Azure, and producing and maintaining clear technical documentation.
The role also involves providing on-call support and participating in out-of-hours support as necessary.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Proven experience in system support and incident resolution across infrastructure, environments, and applications is necessary.
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems is essential.
Experience with CI/CD, particularly using Jenkins, is required.
Proficiency in deploying and managing production environments is necessary.
Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management is required.
Expertise in containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is essential.
Experience with SOA and microservice-based architecture is necessary.
Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases is required.
Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks (Node.js, React.js) is necessary.
Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates is required.
The candidate must be a proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
Availability for on-call and out-of-hours support is necessary.
