Description:

  • Jobgether is seeking a Cloud Engineer to work remotely in Portugal.
  • The role involves designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions while ensuring a seamless DevSecOps framework.
  • The Cloud Engineer will act as a key enabler between development, QA, and operations teams to ensure efficient, secure, and continuous delivery of applications.
  • Responsibilities include automating CI/CD pipelines, managing scalable cloud infrastructure, and ensuring cloud-agnostic design for multi-cloud and on-premise interoperability.
  • The position requires automating tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and custom scripts while maintaining cloud security practices aligned with compliance policies.
  • Key accountabilities include designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily in Azure, and producing and maintaining clear technical documentation.
  • The role also involves providing on-call support and participating in out-of-hours support as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in system support and incident resolution across infrastructure, environments, and applications is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems is essential.
  • Experience with CI/CD, particularly using Jenkins, is required.
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing production environments is necessary.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management is required.
  • Expertise in containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is essential.
  • Experience with SOA and microservice-based architecture is necessary.
  • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases is required.
  • Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks (Node.js, React.js) is necessary.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates is required.
  • The candidate must be a proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Availability for on-call and out-of-hours support is necessary.
