Description:
- The Cloud Engineer Specialist position at Acentra Health involves assisting in DevOps tools and processes, collaborating with development, QA, and support teams to complete Operations/deployment/CICD tasks within deadlines.
- The role requires working knowledge of AWS services like EC2, NLB, ELB, ECS, S3, RDS, EBS volumes, Redshift, DMS, EKS, Glue, Kubernetes, Helm, IAC tools (CFT, Terraform, Ansible), and Microservices architecture.
- Responsibilities include developing work instructions for source control management tools, scripting knowledge (Python, Groovy, Bash), managing CICD pipelines (preferably Jenkins), software packaging using Docker & Ansible, and continuous process improvements and automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6-8 years of relevant work experience or Master’s Degree with 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer for medium to large projects, working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, DevOps tools, Linux, AWS, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, SONAR, Subversion, GIT, Fortify, MS Office tools, J2EE, RDBMS concepts, Perl, Ant/Maven/Gradle, shell scripts, Java, Make files.
- Preferred qualifications include 2-4 years of experience in CICD tools and/or AWS Cloud Environment, AWS certification, scripting experience, advanced Linux experience, and application server administration (WebSphere/WebLogic).
