Remote Cloud Engineer - SRE

Description:

• Join Stardog Engineering's Cloud team to work on extending the Stardog Cloud (SDC) application tier and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to define and build the vision for Stardog Cloud.
• Maintain SDC and Voicebox Cloud, providing support for customer deployments in an on-call rotation.
• Utilize technologies like Kubernetes, containers, Docker, Python, Golang, AWS EKS, Git, Jenkins, CircleCI, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with elastic and scalable APIs, microservice architectures, Azure, GKE, and operating a production SaaS product is a plus.
• Remote-first company with a preference for candidates in European time zones but open to applicants from all time zones.
• Previous experience with graph-based technologies is beneficial but not required.
• Strong communication skills are essential for remote work.
• Computer Science or related degree preferred but not mandatory; dedication to problem-solving and software engineering is key.

Requirements:

• Significant experience with Kubernetes, containers, Docker, Python, Golang. Knowledge of C++ or Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem, particularly EKS, Git, Jenkins, CircleCI, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Comfortable working in Linux and system administration.
• Experience with building elastic and scalable APIs, microservice architectures, Azure, GKE, and operating a production SaaS product is advantageous.
• Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively over email, chat, and PR.
• Preferred experience with graph-based technologies and the semantic technology stack.
